Arcland Property Company is the largest privately held owner, manager and developer of self storage in the Mid-Atlantic Region and rapidly growing regionally and nationally under the Self Storage Plus brand. We are seeking a candidate to join our team as an Acquisitions and Development Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, track and own construction budgets and cost database.
- Engage in design development reviews to achieve high quality permit and bid sets.
- Administer the bid process and negotiate GC contracts.
- Serve as on-site owner rep throughout the Construction phase.
- Provide jobsite photos and documentation of defective work.Resolve defective work.
- Review and critique GC critical path method schedule for best outcomes.
- Proactively seek impediments to progress and aggressively mitigate cost and schedule impacts.
- Effectively negotiate and validate change orders.
- Thoroughly review GC applications for payment.
- Enforce Self Storage Plus brand standards in all new construction projects.
- Facilitate and achieve clean hand-offs to Operations and Asset Management.
- Close out projects promptly.
- Embrace opportunities to use technology for efficiency.
- Update Yardi or similar software (training provided by Arcland).
- Provide input on building design and value engineering.
- Offer suggestions to increase execution speed, reduce costs and increase quality.
- Work with the team to improve Arcland’s “Foundational Documents”.
