Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to oversee owner-side surveillance, ensuring contractor and supplier work complies with the project quality plan and ISO 9001 standards. You’ll review QC plans, track audit findings, and document hold points while coordinating with the project quality lead on status and closes.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to write the requirements rather than only execute them, with growth from Project Quality Manager I

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
