Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. The role focuses on surveillance of contractor and supplier quality, reviewing records, and reporting quality status to the project quality lead.

You will alternate between field activities and documentation, witness hold points, and drive closure of audit findings, with travel to active sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles and practices.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Ability to read specifications, procedures and inspection records and identify gaps.
• Clear written reporting and disciplined document management.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specs.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
