Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review QC documentation, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer aiming to see quality from the requirements side, with opportunities to advance to Project Quality Manager II, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organized in document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
