Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's side, including writing the project quality plan and establishing surveillance and audit programs for contractors.

You will review contractor QC plans, qualifying vendors, and manage nonconformances and corrective actions while reporting metrics to project leadership. Opportunities for growth into higher PM roles exist.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE certification preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor and supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
