Job summary

H-S International is seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative Construction Manager to be the primary on-site advocate for the Owner on large-scale utility and energy infrastructure projects.

You will lead the on-site team, ensure compliance with drawings, permits, and EPC contracts, validate progress, manage risks, and maintain strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in construction management on utility-scale energy projects.
  • Experience as Owner’s Rep, EPC or Construction Management on large projects.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts and construction execution.
  • Ability to travel and stay on-site for extended durations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative Construction Manager to serve as the primary on-site advocate for the Owner on large-scale utility and energy infrastructure projects.

About the Role

In this role, you will act as the Owner’s “eyes and ears” in the field, ensuring EPC contractors deliver the project safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements. You will bridge corporate stakeholders and field execution, proactively managing construction risk, validating contractor performance, and driving resolution of issues that could impact project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the on-site Owner’s Representative team, including leads and technicians
  • Ensure daily construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, permits, and EPC contract requirements
  • Validate contractor progress against the baseline schedule and milestones
  • Identify schedule risks early and drive corrective actions with EPC contractors
  • Review and verify change orders, claims, and monthly pay applications
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across all scopes
  • Provide clear, concise reporting to internal leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for landowners, proactively building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships to ensure smooth project access and community goodwill.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on utility-scale energy, infrastructure, or large industrial projects (Solar or Wind)
  • Experience working in an Owner’s Rep, EPC, or Construction Management role on large, complex projects
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts, construction execution, and team leadership
  • Ability to travel and be on-site for extended durations, current driver’s license

Pay range and compensation package

150-175K Salary + 20% bonus + $1,225 per week per diem + Company Truck + 6 day rotation every month + 2 weeks vacation
