Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is seeking a Project Manager with a primary focus on PM-related services and a secondary focus on internal business operations, including business development, financial management, and staff development. The role carries independent responsibility for entire projects or portions as directed by the project lead.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Construction Project Management experience as an Owner's Representative, with preconstruction experience preferred,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, related field, or relevant experience.
• Excellent communicator both verbally and written; strong problem solving, numeracy and financial management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Client and project team to deliver projects meeting client goals and outcomes.
• Serve as liaison with clients and assist with project-related decisions.
• Plan, organize, and direct the project management functions through all phases from Preconstruction to Closeout.
• Preconstruction: assemble A&E team, design management, schedule management, constructability review, budget development and cost control, contract administration, bidding and permitting.
• Construction: manage contractor, procurement, risk management, quality assurance, safety, and overall project execution; maintain budget and schedule control.
• Closeout: manage closeout to meet project specifications; produce cost and status reports.
• Mentor an internal team of project support or work independently.
• Collaborate effectively to achieve client outcomes and value-added opportunities.
• Contribute to team performance and communicate clearly.
