Vertex is seeking a Project Executive who will be responsible for the successful delivery and financial performance of complex construction projects, with a focus on higher education and healthcare. This role provides executive oversight from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary client advocate while leading high-performing project teams, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience delivering public-sector projects, strong financial and risk management acumen, and the leadership presence to build trusted relationships with owners, partners, and internal teams.
Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience, and at least 5 years in management capacity. Demonstrated success managing P&L, project portfolios, and high-value client relationships. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop project leaders and multidisciplinary teams. Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
