Overview

Owner-operator Van Truckload truck driver

Average revenue range: $180,000-$250,000

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van trailers with 90% drop-and-hook freight at no charge while operating under Schneider’s authority.
• Self-dispatch: pick your loads, home time, lanes and revenue.
• Choose from loads with an all-in rate (no need to calculate fuel or accessorials) or loads with 65% of linehaul revenue plus 100% of fuel surcharge and accessorials at load completion.
• Utilize incentives such as a total of $6,000 in incentives (terms and conditions apply) paid across the second settlement and subsequent weeks.
• Get access to equipment sales and leasing options if you need a truck or an upgrade.
• Take advantage of additional advantages including orientation compensation, discounted fuel and maintenance, toll program benefits, tools to help you succeed, and access to company facilities and truck buying/leasing options.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
• Truck requirements: 2011 or newer, must pass a DOT inspection, EPA10 emissions, and a functioning Collision Mitigation System.
• Additional qualifications may apply.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation details: $180,000-$250,000 yearly salary.
