Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking multiple Owner/Operator Truck Drivers to join our Charlotte, NC terminal. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of freight, route planning, and on-time communication with dispatchers.

We offer plate and insurance programs, discounts on private fuel and national truck stops, and daily home time. Earnings can reach up to $900 per day with local and regional lanes, including ports and rails.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2005 or newer tractor.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A required.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and other expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
