Role Description

The Owner Operator Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Magnolia, AR. In this role, the driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle, transporting freight on scheduled routes, and maintaining on-time pickup and delivery. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and monitoring loads, following all DOT and company safety regulations, and keeping accurate logs and documentation. The driver will coordinate with dispatch for load assignments, communicate proactively about delays or issues, and provide professional customer service at shipping and receiving locations. The role also involves basic vehicle upkeep, reporting maintenance needs, and collaborating with the company’s compliance team to ensure all licenses, permits, and records remain current.

Qualifications

• Commercial driving expertise, including a valid CDL, strong knowledge of DOT regulations, and a safe driving record.
• Operational and route management skills, such as trip planning, time management, and familiarity with GPS and electronic logging devices.
• Vehicle care and safety skills, including conducting thorough inspections, recognizing maintenance needs, and following load securement best practices.
