Job summary

Peeples Industries, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a dependable owner-operator CDL Driver to transport loads to and from the Port of Savannah and our four local locations.

You will operate self-owned and company equipment, follow DOT/FMCSA rules, and maintain accurate records for safe, on-time pickups and deliveries. The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL, at least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience, a clean MVR, and a commitment to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements and qualifications.
• Must have 2 years verifiable OTR Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport loads to and from Port of Savannah and four local company locations.
• Operate self-owned and company equipment safely and professionally.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused owner-operator CDL Driver to transport loads to and from Port of Savannah and our 4 local company locations in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will operate self-owned and company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent service on every pickup and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or older
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required
• Must meet all DOT requirements and qualifications
• Must have 2 years verifiable OTR Class A driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with local container pickup and delivery
• Experience operating dry van, container chassis, flatbed, and dry bulk trailers
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices, route planning tools, and delivery documentation.
