Job summary

Hudd Transportation is actively seeking CDL-A Independent Contractors with their own authority to handle intermodal freight out of Newark, NJ. You will manage local and regional moves with strong earning potential and daily home time as you operate within the port system.

Qualified drivers must have a valid Class A CDL, own tractor with authority, and port/intermodal experience, along with TWIC/SeaLink cards and a current medical card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Own tractor with active operating authority and port/intermodal experience.
• TWIC and SeaLink credentials required.
• Medical card valid and current.

Responsibilities

• Handle intermodal container moves in Newark port area.
• Local NJ port and customer moves; regional PA/MD freight.
• Port pickups and deliveries; additional freight as available.
