Job summary

Hudd Transportation is actively seeking CDL-A Independent Contractors with their own authority to handle intermodal freight out of Newark, NJ. You will manage local and regional moves with strong earning potential and daily home time as you operate within the port system.

Qualified drivers must have a valid Class A CDL, own tractor with authority, and port/intermodal experience, along with TWIC/SeaLink cards and a current medical card.

HUDD Transportation is looking for experiencedCDL-A Owner Operators and small fleet owners with their own authorityfor steady port and intermodal freight out of Newark, NJ.

Run consistent local and regional freight, earn strong weekly revenue, andget home daily.

What You Can Expect

• Up to $364K Annual Earning Potential
• Home daily
• Approximately20–25 moves per week
• Pay typically ranges from$300–$1,000 per move, depending on lane
• Mostly local NJ freight with selectPA and MDruns

The Work

You’ll handle intermodal container moves in and out of the Newark port market, including:

• Local NJ port and customer moves
• Regional PA and MD freight
• Port pickups and deliveries
• Additional freight as available

Requirements

• ValidClass A CDL
• Own tractor and active operating authority
• ValidTWIC and SeaLink cards
• Valid Medical Card
• Port/intermodal experience
• Reliable tractor2014 or newer

Required insurance coverage

• $1M Trucker Liability reflected on FMCSA
• $30,000 Non-Trailer coverage
