Job summary

Karvon Group LLC in Midland, GA is seeking a CMM Operator to program and operate CMMs, read detailed drawings, and perform FAI per AS9102 on aerospace components.

The role requires 3–5+ years of CMM programming/metrology experience with Calypso/Camio or PC-DMIS, GD&T knowledge, and collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing teams onsite.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CMM programming and metrology experience.
• Experience with Calypso/Camio or PC-DMIS.
• Knowledge of GD&T and AS9102.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs and perform dimensional inspection.
• Prepare inspection reports and document measurement results.
• Conduct CMM validation, measurement analysis, and correlation studies.
• Support Quality and Manufacturing teams with dimensional issues.
• Read and interpret GD&T, drawings, and 3D CAD models.
• Assist in FAI per AS9102.

Job Description

• CMM programming and operation using Calypso/Camio and/or PC-DMIS.
• Perform dimensional inspection of complex aerospace components.
• Read GD&T, engineering drawings, and 3D CAD models.
• Perform FAI per AS9102 and prepare inspection reports.
• Conduct CMM validation, measurement analysis, and correlation studies.
• Support Quality and Manufacturing teams with dimensional issues.
• Experience with aerospace materials such as Inconel, Waspaloy, and Titanium.
