A & R Engineering Co Inc in the South Bay area of California is seeking a CMM Operator to run two Hexagon Metrology CMMs using PC-DMIS. The role emphasizes high-precision inspection of aerospace parts and familiarity with GD&T and AS9102 concepts.
Candidates should have 3+ years of CMM experience in aerospace/defense, plus basic PC-DMIS skills and the ability to read complex drawings. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

The CMM Operator will operate 2 Hexagon Metrology CMM's with the 2026 version of PC-DMIS for high-precision, complex parts. While PC-DMIS programming experience is not required, a basic understanding of PC-DMIS routines using CAD models and Model-Based Definition (MBD) is a plus.
Be willing to learn and execute and validate AS9102 First Article using Net-Inspect.
Assist in creating AS9102 1st Article Inspection reports. Mechanical inspection background and ability to perform such is highly desirable.
Compensation range: $25 to $35 per hour.
Must live in the South Bay or adjacent.
