Job summary

FedEx Australia is seeking owner-operator drivers to act as the face of the company, delivering and collecting parcels while engaging with customers daily. You will be part of the Special Services team handling time-sensitive and high-value freight, with full training and permanent/ regional run opportunities.

We offer above award wages, paid weekly, uniform/PPE provided, and a 50-hour week with flexible hours and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Own a van (1-2 tonnes), white, no more than 5 years old.
• Have ABN/ACN and Pty Ltd (or be willing to establish one).
• Hold required insurances: public liability, marine cargo, workers' compensation.
• Have full Australian working rights and clean driving history.
• Safety-focused with understanding of chain of responsibility (training available).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels for FedEx customers daily.
• Engage with customers and ensure on-time, in-full freight handling.
• Maintain safety standards and vehicle readiness.
• Adhere to scheduled runs, including regional routes.

What you’ll be working on

Our Owner Drivers are the ‘face’ of our company who engage with our customers every day, delivering and collecting parcels to ensure we can get their freight to wherever it needs to go – around the corner or across the globe.

You’ll be a part of our Special Services team who are at the “pointy end” of logistics. On a daily basis we are dealing with bloods, clinical trial samples, medical consignments and secure freight which must be delivered on time, in full, to set and tight deadlines.
