As a YFJA Project Development Intern, you’ll work as part of a small team to learn from local research, community assessments, and experienced community partners. You’ll use what you learn to help develop practical plans for food justice projects in the Fruit Valley community.

This isn’t an internship where you’re simply observing from the sidelines. You’ll be researching, asking questions, collaborating with partners, developing ideas, and helping turn research into actionable project plans.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work collaboratively with a team of 4-5 youth interns and learn from professionals and community partners, including:

• City of Vancouver Neighborhood Needs Assessment Team
• Clark County Community Health Assessment Team
• Bikes for Clark County

Together, you’ll examine existing research and community needs to help develop implementation plans for a defined set of Youth Food Justice Alliance project components.
