Job summary

Responsibilities

• The Operations Supervisor oversees all aspects of day‑to‑day production, manufacturing, and distribution of personnel activities.
• Leads team meetings and facilitates continuous improvements in the process with emphasis on quality and reduction of cost and waste.
• Responsible for ensuring the production of a quality product and meeting production/customer specifications while achieving plant productivity objectives.
• Identifies and corrects unsafe situations and/or behaviors and models safety in all activities.
• Reports, evaluates, and when necessary investigates all work‑related accidents by identifying contributing factors and implementing corrective action.
• Acts as a team player possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Adapts to a rapidly changing environment, works under pressure, and meets deadlines.
• Assesses situations, makes judgments, analyzes problems (not just symptoms), makes logical decisions, and carries out the decisions made.
• Works as a team with other supervisors to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Thoroughly communicates all needed information with the other shifts.
• Collaborates with management, maintenance, quality, and engineering to solve production challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Management) preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong decision‑making skills and proven ability to prioritize department needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with WorkForce “Time Keeping and Attendance” is a plus.
• Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
