Job summary

RedTown Technical Services, LLC seeks a Meteorologist for a full-time position at the U.S. Army Garrison–Kwajalein Atoll Reagan Test Site. You’ll relocate to Kwajalein Island and provide forecasts and warnings for the Kwajalein Atoll region, supporting mission operations and weather data interpretation.

The role requires a B.S. in meteorology or related field, 5–7 years’ forecasting experience, U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of forecasting experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide weather forecasts for the Kwajalein Atoll region using satellite data, radar, observations and models.
• Issue weather warnings, watches and advisories.
• Support mission operations with meteorological analysis and reports.
• Improve weather station processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with forecasters, mission personnel and technical staff.
