Job summary

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Generator Technician to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. The role involves diagnosing and maintaining megawatt generators, supervising others, and being willing to work on-call, nights, weekends and holidays.

A Secret clearance and a high school diploma are required, with at least eight years in generator maintenance including a lead role.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent, vocational or trade school graduate or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum eight (8) years of generator maintenance experience, three (3) of which in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, controls and generators using prints, diagrams and specs.
• Maintain and operate megawatt rated high amperage and high voltage generators.
• Oversee contracted maintenance services and provide guidance to team members.
