Summary:

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes access to gym and workout facilities, a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• If military experience is included, a DD214 from the last 10 years is required
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
• Two (2) years' experience in armed security, law enforcement, or armed forces operations within the past 10 years
• Completion of a State-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or armed forces security/law enforcement training (verification required)
• Current/active U.S. Passport
• Willingness to undergo NCIC/FBI background check and fingerprints; must have a clean criminal record
• Knowledge of security operations and basic force protection
• Excellent communication skills
• Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with documentation
• Pass a Physical Ability Test (run 1.5 miles in 17:30, 21 pushups in 2 mins); no exceptions
• Willing to undergo random drug testing
• Work hours: 48 hours/week, may include different schedules and additional hours as assigned
• Physical fitness required for guard duties in various weather and terrain conditions
