Job Responsibilities

Under pharmacist supervision, support pharmacy operations including inventory management, medication preparation, distribution, compounding, and processing. Assist with medication histories, answer calls, enter orders, prepare medications for dispensing, and maintain records. May help in bulk compounding and IV preparation. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to minimize medication errors.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Indiana Pharmacy Tech-In Training, Indiana Pharmacy Technician License, or intern/extern license if enrolled in an accredited pharmacy college
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification within one year of hire, unless enrolled in an accredited program
  • No criminal history impacting work with drugs
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to learn pharmacy skills under supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with typing and Microsoft Office
