Job summary

Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking a Youth Development Technician for overnight shifts at the Abraxas Youth Center or Leadership Development Program in South Mountain, PA. This part-time role offers $19.00/hour with DailyPay available and comprehensive benefits.

You will support youth in a safe, structured environment, model positive behavior, and help with growth through group and individual activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass federal and state background checks (criminal, drug, abuse, etc.).
• Background screening and pre-employment checks completed.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to provide a structured and safe environment for each youth.
• Promote growth through therapeutic groups and individual work with each youth.
• Provide safety through room checks, room searches, supervision and documentation.
• Deescalate during crisis and perform safety interventions as needed.
• Follow program processes and rules to maintain consistency and teamwork.
• Complete initial and on-going training.
