CJR in Litchfield, CT is seeking a Lead Residential Night Mentor to supervise evening and overnight youth programs, provide direct care, and model safe interactions. This role supports fellow Youth Mentors and ensures youth safety during high-need hours.

With 38 hours per week and a $23.97 per hour rate, the position emphasizes crisis intervention, boundary setting, and thorough documentation, including reports and safety checks.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with at-risk or court-involved adolescents.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to respond calmly during emergencies and maintain boundaries.

Responsabilidades

• Offer guidance to Youth Mentors and supervise evening/overnight milieu.
• Provide direct care to residents and ensure safe interactions.
• Conduct crisis watches and maintain youth safety.
• Complete written reports and maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Demonstrate culturally responsive practices with diverse youths.
