Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our distribution facility in East Hartford, CT. You will manage pulling, packing, and shipping of products to customers and other NEFCO sites, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

This is a night shift position Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, offering 40 hours with overtime opportunities. You will work with RF scanners and ERP systems, load trucks, and operate forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook is a plus.
• Positive, hard-working attitude with ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with RF scanners and ERP systems to verify items.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack and ship products leaving the warehouse.
• Verify products against RF/ERP system records.
• Load trucks and operate forklifts, cherry pickers, or sorting bins.
• Ensure correct labels and outbound routing for shipments.
• Communicate with management and branch personnel as needed.
