Job summary

PACE Supply Corp. in Stockton, CA is hiring a Maintenance Helper for the overnight shift (12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m., Mon-Fri). You will clean, restock, and dispose of trash, move bins, organize pallets, and help maintain a safe, orderly warehouse.

Responsibilities also include basic repairs, painting, pothole fills, and using a floor scrubber to keep floors clean. Sit-down forklift experience is a plus and relevant training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
• Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of English language (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, self-driven in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms and breakrooms.
• Breaking down and disposing of trash.
• Moving trash bins throughout the warehouse.
• Organizing and sorting pallets.
• General upkeep to ensure a safe, clean work environment.
• Operate a floor scrubber to maintain warehouse floors.
• Perform routine maintenance such as repairs to windows, doors, and walls.
• Identify and address safety hazards; collaborate with the safety team.
