Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology.
• Experience with emergency, surgical, and hospitalized patient care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overnight hours.
• Commitment to continued learning and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow digital treatment plans prescribed by the attending veterinarian.
• Provide safe patient handling and low-stress restraint.
• Administer medications, injections, sedation, and nursing care.
• Place intravenous catheters and support emergency and surgical care.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in patient status.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia as required.
• Collect diagnostic samples and perform in-house lab work.
• Maintain accurate digital medical records and sterilize instruments.
