MSPCA-Angell West in Waltham, MA seeks an experienced Veterinary Attendant for an on-site overnight shift. The role involves caring for veterinary patients, walking and feeding, and documenting medical records in the hospital system.

A cover letter detailing animal care experience is encouraged for applicants. Position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a base starting rate of $18.00/hour plus a $5/hour overnight differential.

Qualifications

• Recent experience with different animal species of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Walking, feeding, providing overall care and comfort to patients and documenting medical record information in the hospital computer system.
• Identify and report when an animal is not stable and respond quickly to signs of distress.
