PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Thousand Oaks is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in the busy night shift. You will help with cleaning, feeding, restraining and preparing patients, and handling clerical tasks to keep the hospital running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, document weight and vital signs.
• Triage, examinations, treatments, and administer medications as directed.
• Assist doctors and technicians with procedures and patient restraint.
• Maintain hospital equipment, kennels, and sanitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records and complete paperwork.
