Veterinary Assistant - Overnight Shift

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight team at our hybrid hospital in Ithaca, NY. Our facility offers wellness and specialty services, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, oncology, internal medicine, emergency, and general practice care.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in the care of hospitalized patients.
2. Maintaining medical records.
3. Filling prescriptions.
4. Assisting with laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
5. Providing compassionate restraint and patient care.
6. Providing client updates and assisting with patient discharges.
7. Assisting the ER service as needed.
