You will monitor patients overnight, administer medications, manage fluids, and support surgical teams with setup, documentation, and readiness for the next day.

The role requires strong clinical skills, independent judgment, and a commitment to patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in surgical, specialty, or emergency veterinary care.
• Strong technical skills including medication and fluid therapy administration, patient monitoring, and surgical pack preparation.
• Ability to work independently with excellent judgment and time management.
• Proficiency with EzyVet and VetRadar or similar EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care for hospitalized surgical patients and manage medications and fluids.
• Monitor patient condition, perform nursing assessments, and adjust plans per protocol.
• Assist with surgical setup, sterilization, and equipment readiness for next day.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, inventory, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Support client communication for overnight discharges and updates.
