Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Partner, is seeking a Part-time Overnight Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Woodstock, MD. The role involves nursing care, patient evaluation, lab work, medications, and client education in a canine orthopedic and rehabilitation setting.

Compensation ranges from $20.30 to $28.50 per hour, with shift differential for nights and weekends. This position is based on a wellness-focused team within Mars Veterinary Health, offering growth opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
• Assist with patient evaluation and examination.
• Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.
• Run routine lab work.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Understand classification of commonly used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response.
• Exercise patients.
• Clean kennels and ensure overall cleanliness of the hospital.
• Provide client education and communication.
