Join us as an Overnight Valet Attendant in Durham, NC at LAZ Parking

Apply now for the Overnight Valet Attendant - Durham, NC position at LAZ Parking. This role offers a pay range of $16.00/hr, plus cash tips, with a schedule from Friday to Sunday, 10pm to 6:30am. Please note, a mandatory flu shot, COVID-19 vaccination, and at least two boosters are required prior to hiring.

Position Overview

As a LAZ Valet Attendant, you will be the first and last point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service, parking cars efficiently, and maintaining a professional demeanor. Your role is vital in creating a positive first impression and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow CARE behaviors (Compassionate, Attentive, Resourceful, Efficient)
  • Communicate effectively and resolve conflicts professionally
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and promptly, greeting customers warmly
  • Assist in directing traffic to maintain smooth flow
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and promote positive relations
Requirements
  • Charismatic, energetic, and helpful personality
  • Dependability and responsibility
  • Valid US driver’s license for over 2 years, good driving record, ability to drive manual transmission
  • Ability to handle pressure and challenging situations
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds
  • Stand, walk, and run for extended periods
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and make independent decisions
