Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc in Fremont, CA is hiring for a full-time unarmed security supervisor. Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay: $27.00 per hour.

You will maintain a safe environment, interact professionally with clients and staff, and perform security duties at client sites. The role requires 18+, a California Security Guard Card, at least one year of leadership experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Manage security services and related operations including post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
• Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Advanced computer skills to utilize access control technology at client sites.
• Handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently; respond to emergencies and investigate disturbances.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Manage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Advanced computer skills to utilize innovative, access control technology at client-specific sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
