Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

PRO EM is looking to hire Overnight Unarmed Security Guards. Looking for individuals interested in or experienced in overnight unarmed security duties for upcoming sporting events, festivals, concerts, and more!

Responsibilities

• Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
• Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approach suspicious persons and/or notify police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators, as required, until police arrive.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in motor vehicles, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; use client keys to open and close buildings; monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities.
• Prepare routine, standardized reports.
• Provide escorts as necessary.
• Inform and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.

Requirements

• Must have a current AZ Guard Card.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• No felonies or misdemeanors in the last 5 years.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to understand numerous policies and procedures, and respond using discretion based on general and client-specific policies.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations.
• Work typical 10-12 hour overnight shifts.
• Ability to work solo.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour. DPS License #1668077.
