Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Traveler Medical Technician (Overnight shift) to support our client’s medical facility in Ellsworth, ME 04605. This is a 3+ months contract opportunity with potential extension or conversion.

Shift is 7 pm–7:30 am EST, Monday through Friday with rotational weekends, totaling 36 hours per week. The role involves performing routine lab tests under supervision and following CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA guidelines to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology or work experience: 1-3 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested the same way as patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review/report test results.
