Job summary

Family & Children’s Services seeks an Overnight Triage Therapist to perform crisis assessments, stabilization, and triage in Tulsa’s crisis facility. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to divert individuals from inpatient hospitalization and emergencies.

Requirements include a Master’s in social work or counseling and active licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oklahoma (or supervision). Overnight availability is essential, with supportive agency benefits and professional development

Qualifications

As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Overnight Triage Therapist provides a range of crisis services which divert individuals experiencing behavioral health crisis from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, jail and emergency rooms. The Triage Therapist performs assessments, crisis stabilization & clinic-based triage in a clean, updated and safe crisis facility with 24/7 security, located in beautiful downtown Tulsa.

Therapist Requirements

• A master's degree in social work, counseling, or its equivalent from an accredited school.
• Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma or under supervision for licensure.
• Availability to work an overnight schedule
• Must be proficient in the identification and treatment of mental disorders.
• Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments; demonstrate knowledge in crisis intervention and a working knowledge of 43A, Oklahoma Mental Health Law.
• Demonstrate competency in conducting specialized risk assessment of suicidal and other high-risk individuals.
• Perform efficiently in emergency situation remaining calm, and documenting events.
• Must work well in a very fast paced, crisis-centered environment.
• Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record.
