Job summary

Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho, seeks a Terrain Park Grooming Supervisor to lead nightly grooming, oversee snowcat operations, and guide the construction and maintenance of terrain park features to meet safety and quality standards.

You will work with the Terrain Park Manager and daytime staff to set nightly priorities, inspect equipment, coordinate rebuilds, and ensure parks are ready for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years snowcat grooming and 3 years terrain park experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nightly terrain park grooming, including snowcat grooming.
• Coordinate nightly priorities with the Terrain Park Manager and daytime staff.
• Provide direction to grooming crew and manage scheduling.
• Build, shape, install, modify, and maintain terrain park features.
• Complete routine nightly grooming while maintaining surface quality.
• Identify features needing work and communicate status to daytime staff.
• Assist with park builds and major rebuilds as assigned.
• Ensure grooming activities follow safety procedures and standards.
• Perform pre- and post-shift snowcat inspections and report issues.
