Northwell Health – Manhattan, New York is seeking an overnight Assistant Medical Director for the Emergency Telepsychiatry Program. The role leads a 24/7 Telehealth Hub with a multidisciplinary team and provides virtual ED psychiatry consultations.

The position includes 20% academic/administrative time and 8:30pm–8:30am shifts, averaging 10 per month in Manhattan. Board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrists licensed in NYS are required, with 2 years of CPEP/emergency psychiatry experience, and

Qualifikationen

• Board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist for NYS license
• 2 years Emergency Psychiatry/CPEP experience required
• Superior computer and EHR skills
• Must be able to assess patients of all ages

Aufgaben

• Lead overnight multidisciplinary team at the Telepsychiatry Hub
• Provide "virtual" Emergency Psychiatry consultations to Emergency Departments
• Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, and logisticians
• Manage overnight shifts and admin responsibilities (about 10 shifts/month, 8:30pm–8:30am)
