Evolve Treatment Centers in California operates a 6-bed residential program for teens. The Overnight Residential Counselor ensures safety and supervision during the night shift (10pm–6am), stays awake, performs light chores, and assists with inventory.

The role emphasizes teamwork, PPE compliance, ongoing training, and growth opportunities; exposure to COVID may occur in a clinical setting. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21, willing to work weekends, and have 6–9

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be able to stay awake overnight; overnight shift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old; valid CA driver’s license required.
• 6–9 months of experience working with teens with mental health or substance issues.
• Background checks including LiveScan and state/federal clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Be awake, alert, and active for the entire night shift (10pm–6am).
• Ensure clients are in bed all night and provide line of sight at all times.
• Check on clients every 15 minutes and perform maintenance checks.
• Assist with inventory and notify facility manager of issues.
• Document shift activity in KIPU and help maintain facility cleanliness.
• Attend and participate in monthly Treatment Team Meetings.
