Job summary

Carolina Sweepers in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sweeper Truck Operator (General Labor) for third shift. You’ll drive a sweeper truck at night, work independently, and ensure commercial properties stay clean and presentable.

No experience is required, but a valid driver license, ability to work overnight, and the willingness to work outdoors in all weather are essential. Training provided for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Active driver license with clean driving record.
• Availability for weekends and holidays (except Christmas).
• Overnight shift 9:00pm–route end (typically 5:30am–7:30am).
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and handle trash.
• Landscaping/sanitation/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Ability to send emails and use technology.
• Cannot hold another job while employed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a sweeper truck to clean commercial parking lots.
• Operate a backpack blower and other light tools.
• Empty and replace trash can liners.
• Hand-pick litter and debris to keep areas clean.
• Complete paperwork and use a mobile app to check in/out.
• Drive to various client sites, including longer routes in the region.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition.
