YMCA Camp Twin Lakes is seeking positive role models to join as Overnight Summer Camp Counselors for Summer 2025. Located 20 miles from downtown Austin, our counselors facilitate student programming, provide support, supervision, and encouragement to campers, and make a meaningful impact!

Job Details

• Salary: $560-$600/week
• Room and Board Included

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Childcare or camp experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Enthusiastic, creative, compassionate, confident

Essential Functions

• Lead cabin groups and oversee camper activities
• Foster positive relationships and encourage participation
• Support behavioral and group dynamic challenges
• Work collaboratively with co-counselors and staff
• Participate in daily camp operations
• Reside on camp property and provide overnight supervision
• Work at least one full weekend camp program
