Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit and family of programs, is seeking an Overnight SUD Counselor I for the Oxnard Women’s Center to provide around-the-clock support for women in recovery, including those caring for children. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and coordinated care within a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers 24/7 coverage, comprehensive services, and a pathway to contribute to a recovery-focused environment in Ventura County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Registration as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor (California) preferred if applicable, and valid First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: oversee clients and their children, supervise activities, and support recovery in a 24/7 setting.
• Nighttime Duties: remain alert, perform checks, and ensure areas are cleaned and secure.
• Clinical Documentation: write progress notes within 72 hours and maintain compliant records.
• Administration: participate in supervision, team meetings, training, and timely communications.
