Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposit control.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Train all assigned associates on overnight stocking procedures and productivity standards.
• Coach overnight staff to maintain company standards.
• Assess work completion and follow up on performance.
• Implement performance standards and measures; advise Store Managers on corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings and train on safety practices for overnight staff.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized store and a safe environment.
• Manage backroom operations and receiving area.
• Ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices and plans.
• Direct unloading of trucks and stock reserve inventory; rotate perishable items.
