Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an overnight supervisor to lead store operations and ensure safe, efficient stocking and presentation of merchandise. You will train and coach associates, monitor performance, and uphold safety standards to protect assets and staff.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2–3 years retailExperience; leadership is preferred. Expect responsibilities spanning safety, backroom management, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience; lead experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overnight store operations and associates.
• Train associates on overnight procedures, stocking productivity, and safety standards.
• Coach associates to meet company standards and assess work performance.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper training on safety practices.
• Maintain backroom organization, merchandising presentation, and stock rotation.
• Ensure adherence to 7 Day Workflow Plan and use of handheld devices for stock control.
