Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a night-shift supervisor to oversee store employees during overnight operations, support efficient store management, inventory control and merchandise presentation, and ensure a safe working environment. The role includes coaching associates, enforcing safety practices, and training on recovery standards to maintain store standards.

Responsibilities also cover backroom organization, stock receiving, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation and pricing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store employees during overnight operations.
• Assist with efficient management of store operations, inventory and merchandise presentation.
• Provide support to other managers as requested.
• Coach overnight associates to ensure company standards are maintained.
• Conduct safety meetings and train associates on safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized store and ensure safe working conditions.
• Train associates in recovery standards and execution of store policies.
