Schnucks in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a center store clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service while maintaining shelves and backroom areas. This role emphasizes regular attendance, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating products in dairy, frozen, non-foods, and grocery departments; processing deliveries; reading shelf tags; and adhering to safety guidelines. Training is store-based with opportunities for growth within Schnucks.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Stock and rotate products on shelves.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain company productivity standards
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
