Job summary

Meijer in Cadillac, MI is seeking a stock associate to replenish shelves, move stock to the correct locations, and assist management in keeping aisles organized and stocked accurately. The role emphasizes a friendly customer experience and physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lb.

Night shifts are required, and associates will use store computer systems for stock codes and inventory tasks while benefiting from weekly pay and Meijer Rewards including education assistance and a team member

Qualifications

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfortable using them.
• Process driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What will you be doing?

• You will stock food shelves with a variety of products.
• Pull back stock and trash to the back room to the correct areas.
