Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to create a welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will interact with customers, share product knowledge, and ensure displays are appealing and stocked to standard.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an L-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
